Description
Music, art, laughter, evolution, healing that’s what the Glade is about. You can get the lot if you want, or just have a dance. Whatever you want, it’s here created by loads of wicked people who all believe in the music and enjoyed by a unique crowd who come to be part of the show. It’s one big 3D living work of art that we are all part of every tune, sculpture, dance move, dreadlock and costume.
The Glade is also the biggest festival in the UK that doesn’t have any sponsorship. That’s because we believe in keeping it real in creating a space for people to dance and laugh, connect and reflect, teach, learn and be here now, without any of the bollocks of the corporate world.
We reckon that the true magic of a festival is in the reality bubble it creates you know - that feeling when you get home on Tuesday that you have just spent 4 days in a parallel universe where people are open minded, warm hearted, and friendly. Where we support one another and celebrate each others individuality. Where its alright to smile at a stranger and let your freak flag unfurl.
It’s not always like that out in the big wide world which is why we want as few reminders of it as possible. So no sponsorship (even though we could do with the money!) because we figure its representative of a less caring world and all its limitations and you are coming to a festival to find something else - To explore human potential, rather than just get more of what you have most of the week.
If you have been before then we looking forward to seeing you back, if you haven’t been that lucky, then make it this time – it’s good for ya.
We will be constantly updating the website with news, line-ups and all manner of stuff that you might want to know about, so do visit it and see what’s going on from time to time.
Tickets will be on sale from 20th March from G Tickets and Access All Areas only.
The Glade is primarily about Electronic Dance Music and each stage at the festival is run by UK promoters who are at the forefront of their scene; respected and plugged in to what is cutting so you can be sure as the music evolves, so does the festival.
It isn’t all electronic; there are pockets of acousticity and throughout everything there is one big fat common denominator; all the music is made and played by people who love it. Everywhere you go you’ll find tunes, music and noise, from the minds of artists who are mad for it.
There is a huge array of acts that are nearly confirmed on all the stages and we will be constantly updating our website with news as and when we get the green light.
